The SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH, Munich, was founded in 1988 under the name of ASAP Gesellschaft für Sensorische Analyse und Produktentwicklung mbH, and is the leading institute for sensory research and consultation in Germany. Since the beginning of 2003 it has been a subsidiary of the SAM Sensory and Marketing International AG.


SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH's research and consultation for the purpose of product development and product re-launches is based on product profiling by panels trained in descriptive analysis, and on hedonic product testing by consumer panels. With regard to product sustainability in the marketplace, SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH product development tests include special analysis of long term consumer preferences.

 

For the launching of new products, SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH offers integrated sensory and marketing research in co-operation with leading market research institutes (e.g. the German NFO Infratest). The SAM ASAP Sensory and Marketing Germany GmbH team brings together experts from sensory, perception psychology, marketing, market research, statistics, and nutrition. This ensures for optimal consultation coupled with sophisticated research programs.

 

Special attention is given to package design testing by CAPO (Computer-Aided Packaging Optimisation).
